Long Traditions

Hotel Videseter has been around for a long time.

Traditions back to the Vikings, first as a Stone arch, then as a log cabin for the wanderers for a hundred years

First hotel was opened in 1903 by the Norwegian state and has ever since been open every summer. The snow conditions are hard and therefore the hotel is closed during the winter.

Season from May to September

Old Strynefjell Road

Travel past Videseter has been going on for a long time before the Vikings. Hunting traces dating back to the Stone Age have been found there.
